The Pershing Health System Auxiliary is a dedicated group of volunteers who generously give their time and talents to support our patients, visitors, staff and hospital.
“We’re small, but we have a lot!” says Marybeth Kelley, President of the Pershing Health System Auxiliary. That statement describes not only the variety found in the PHS Gift Shop, but also the many ways Auxiliary members support Pershing Health System and the community it serves.
PHS Gift Shop
One of the Auxiliary’s most visible services is the PHS Gift Shop, conveniently located inside the hospital. The Gift Shop is open to patients, visitors, employees and the public and offers a variety of unique gifts and everyday items.
Shoppers can find clothing and accessories, jewelry, baby gifts, toys and children’s items, candy, personal-care products and other seasonal and specialty merchandise. Inventory changes throughout the year, so there is often something new to discover.
Proceeds from the Gift Shop help support the Auxiliary’s efforts to benefit Pershing Health System.
Supporting PHS and Our Community
The Auxiliary’s support extends well beyond the Gift Shop. Members volunteer their time throughout the hospital and organize fundraising activities that help provide additional resources for PHS.
The Auxiliary also supports students pursuing careers in healthcare through scholarships and recognizes PHS physicians and employees through special activities and appreciation events.
Through volunteering, fundraising and community support, the Pershing Health System Auxiliary continues its tradition of making a difference for our hospital and the people we serve.

Students will begin their journey into healthcare programs this fall and will receive $600 per year for four years through our renewable scholarship.
We’re also continuing to support previous recipients:
Hannah Byers, Avery Gillman, Bentley Jordan, Alexandra Moore and Mya Sackrey – all working hard toward their healthcare careers!
Each year, the Auxiliary proudly awards up to 14 renewable scholarships to local graduating seniors pursuing healthcare fields. Funds are raised through book fairs, gift shop sales, and basket raffles—all made possible by the support of our community.
