Pershing Health System extends our sincere thanks to Linn County Ambulance for the endless hours, unwavering dedication, and exceptional care you provide – day and night, rain or shine – to our patients and community.
LINN COUNTY AMBULANCE
Mission: To provide top quality, compassionate pre-hospital care to the citizens and visitors of Linn County Missouri now, and long into the future.
A Message from Matt Bowen, Linn County Ambulance Manager:
Normally, you see Mission, Vision, and Values presented together. We decided to give our Values section its very own space. Words like Loyalty, Accountability, Compassion, and Honesty come to mind.
The “Why” behind what we do is so important—it shapes our culture and, by extension, everything we do in patient care. Care being the operative word in that last sentence.
Ultimately, it boils down to this: we are called upon to provide excellent care for patients on possibly the worst day of their lives. It may seem routine to us, but to them, we are their source of answers and comfort. We must arrive at the patient’s side ready to perform at our best.
It’s not about how well we can start an IV, read an EKG strip, or memorize a medication dose. Those skills are very important—but ultimately, we have to care. And that feeling must go from our hearts to the patient, clearly and without question. It guides everything we do.
As Administrator, it’s my job to ensure our crews have everything they need to be successful in this mission.
