General John J. Pershing Memorial Hospital, doing business as Pershing Health System, is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Brookfield, Missouri. Since opening its doors on January 11, 1960, Pershing has remained committed to providing quality, compassionate health care close to home.
As the health care needs of the community have grown and changed, Pershing Health System has continued to expand its facilities, services and technology. In 2008, a 38,000-square-foot expansion significantly enhanced the hospital and outpatient clinic, including improvements to the Emergency Department, Laboratory and Imaging services. Community Medical Associates was also relocated within the hospital, providing patients with convenient access to clinic care and other hospital services in one location.
Over the years, Pershing Health System has continued to broaden the services available locally, helping patients receive more of the care they need without traveling far from home.
Today, Pershing Health System provides care for patients of all ages through a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, rehabilitation and emergency services. These include primary care through Community Medical Associates and Meadville Medical Clinic, 24/7 emergency care, outpatient surgery, physical and occupational therapy, respiratory care, laboratory testing, and advanced imaging services.
