Patient & Family Advisory Council (PFAC)

Your Experience Can Help Shape the Future of Care

At Pershing Health System, we believe some of the best ideas for improving healthcare come from the people who experience it firsthand.

That’s why we are forming a Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) — a group of former patients, family members and caregivers who will partner with Pershing Health System staff and leaders to help improve the quality, safety and overall experience of care.

By sharing your experiences, ideas and perspectives, you can help us better understand what matters most to the patients and families we serve.

Why Your Voice Matters

Healthcare professionals bring their clinical knowledge and experience to patient care. Patients and families bring another important perspective, what it feels like to experience that care.

PFAC gives patients and families a voice in helping Pershing Health System identify opportunities, strengthen communication and create a more compassionate, safe and patient-centered healthcare experience.

Real people. Real experiences. Real change.

How PFAC Members Can Make a Difference

As a member of the Patient and Family Advisory Council, you have opportunities to:

  • Support Staff Education
Share experiences and personal stories that can help staff better understand healthcare through the eyes of patients and families.
