With a lifelong passion for helping others, Irene Parsonson brings decades of compassionate, full-spectrum care to Community Medical Associates. Irene’s healthcare journey began early—at just nine years old—when a tonsillectomy sparked a desire to care for others. That early experience set the stage for a remarkable career in medicine.

Originally from Michigan, Irene has worked her way through the nursing ranks, beginning as a CNA and advancing step by step to become a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Her broad clinical experience includes hospital floors, doctor’s offices, and agency nursing—all of which give her a well-rounded perspective in providing care across all stages of life.

Irene is especially passionate about family medicine and strives to bring reassurance and trust to every patient interaction. Her personal approach to care is simple yet powerful: “Be honest and be a good listener.” She believes that every patient deserves to feel safe, heard, and confident in their care plan—and she’s proud to be part of a team at CMA that values those same principles.

Outside of the clinic, Irene is a devoted dog mom to five pampered pups who enjoy spa days and lots of attention. Her days off are often spent caring for them, which she lovingly calls her favorite hobby.
